MB-86 WINDOWS: FUNCTIONALITY AND GOOD APPEARANCE

  1. With its new shape, large thermal breaks enable the use of an additional barrier in profiles’ insulation zone

  2. Two-component, central gasket perfectly seals and thermally insulates the space between the casement and the frame

  3. Wide range of profiles guarantees the desired aesthetics and resistance

  4. Glazing strips with additional sealing available in three variants: Standard, Prestige & Style

  5. Profile shapes are well suited to numerous multi-point locking systems, including concealed hinges

  6. Wide range of glazing allows the use of all common types of windows, triple glazing units, acoustic or security panes

  7. Drainage functionality is available in two variants: classic and concealed

  8. Technical parameters:

  9. Air permeability: windows: class 4, doors: class 3, PN-EN 12207:2001

Mb-104 Passive House

The MB-104 Passive is a thermal break-equipped window systems that provides the highest thermal insulation performance, and meets all the requirements for passive building components.

The system is used to fabricate exterior architectural development elements, e.g. various types of windows, vestibules, and spatial structures, which are characterized, in addition to the excellent thermal insulation, by a very good sound insulation, water- and  air tightness and high structural strength.

MB-104 WINDOWS: FUNCTIONALITY AND GOOD APPEARANCE

  1. Passive House Institute Darmstadt-certified windows: MB-104 Passive SI and MB-104 Passive Aero

  2. Excellent thermal insulation performance: UW from 0,53 W/m2K

  3. Standard-exceeding tightness and insulation performance

  4. Large range of glazing, up to 81mm

Why choose Aluminium?

If you are looking to add style and colour to your property, our aluminium doors are ideal. British Aluminium’s windows are extremely versatile and suit any number of property styles.

Aluminium is a very light weight, high strength material that is very durable and highly resistant to corrosion. When recycled aluminium loses none of the physical properties which is why it is generally regarded as one of the world’s most sustainable building materials.

In much the same way as everything else in the world has moved on, so too has the technology and design of aluminium windows which are barely recognisable from its 40 year old ancestor.

Today’s aluminium windows are at the pinnacle of architectural glazing solutions. The inherent strength of the frame material allows the frame to be much narrower than the uPVC or timber alternatives and also means you can design significantly larger glass areas.

Aluminium VS uPVC

Aluminium is a very stable material, keeping expansion and contraction with changes in the ambient temperature to a minimum. This makes aluminium the only sensible choice of material for large picture windows. Also there are no welded joints that you get with uPVC, and unlike timber, aluminium will never rot and there is no need to repaint the frames year after year. You can have a choice of literally hundreds of colours and finishes, and the option to have a different colour inside and out.

Combine all of these advantages with excellent performance in terms of security, thermal insulation, sound insulation and weather proofing, and it’s hard to see why anyone would choose any other material.
